Bugs Stop the Jacks Again

The Shreveport Mudbugs (33-6-3-2) made two goals stand as the difference in shutting out the Odessa Jackalopes, 2-0 Saturday night at Georges Pond in Hirsch Coliseum.
Shreveport got on the board first in the first when Cameron Cook tipped a perfect feed from Brendon Gysbers into the back of the net. It was Cook’s 19th goal of the year as 17:55 of the opening frame. Gueorgui Feduolov picked the second assist on the goal. Mudbugs led 1-0 after one period of play.
