The Shreveport Mudbugs hosted the first NAHL draft party for fans Tuesday June 6th at Red River Brewing. Fans enjoyed great food from Mucho Rico and Penalty Bock on tap throughout the afternoon.
Mudbugs Head Coach Karlis Zirnis selected five players from the 2017 draft:
- Garrett Hall -20- last played with the Tri-City Storm,
- Trevor Zins -18- last played with Cedar Rapids Rough Riders
- Zachery Faremouth -17- last played with Detroit Compuware 16U
- Griffin Lunn -19- last played with Bloomington Thunder
- Robert Welsher -18- last played with Oakland Junior Grizzlies 18U
The Shreveport Mudbugs main training camp will be held July 20-23 in Canton, MI.
